Pittsburg, Kansas | Wife and I are both kind of cheap skates so our motel stays would probably not suit most people wanting a vacation experience.
Wife really liked the Botanical Gardens. The Maid of the Mist was cool enough to do once. We did another river boat tour somewhere north of the falls. Where the whirlpool is. It was a nice tour. Wife says last time we stayed 4 days 3 nights. Ferris wheel view at night was cool.
That was the Goldwing motorcycle trip where we went from Cape Cod to the falls, then followed the north side of the Great Lakes in Canada to Winnipeg.
Was intending to go across Canada but got very sick in Winnipeg so rode south into US for medical care then home to Kansas to recuperate a week or two. Then back on the road to Seattle to visit other friends. Coast to coast with a sick leave in between. Good trip though.
