| I don't know anyone paralyzed. I also don't know anyone that refers to facebook as meta. I also don't know anyone that has had either a Oculus quest or a vision pro that hasn't sat and collected dust after the initial wow factor. AR is old technology, google glass is over ten years old.
There's always shock stories on TV and anywhere you turn on the internet. I would consider myself a tech nerd, more than likely I've already tuned out of the loop before you've been in it.
