| MSU had a higher net than Indiana Stae, 24 compared to 29. The 29 is the highest net ever for a team not to make the NCAA tourney.,Bad deal for ISU but happens evey year. There was 5 upset winners in conference tourneys that hurt ISU being only their conf tourney winner gets the automatic bid, not the conference champion. The other thing that hurt them was a Quad 4 ,17 pt home loss. Though they had a much better win/ loss record than MSU,, MSU played a much stronger SOS.Sucks for ISU, I would have like to see them play in the tourney
