Yes. Indiana state would have been in if there hadn’t been so many upsets in the tournaments. All winning conference regular season means in the mid majors is a banner and number one seed in conference tourney. Maybe hosting an NIT game and winning a couple is better than an embarrassing loss to a number 1 seed in the big tourney. IDK. And yes it’s all about money like everything else.
