Western-Central Lower Michigan | Years ago, Wife and I inherited her Grand Pa's farm. I was still working in town, and wanted habitat. The farm wasnt tiled, and a CRP signup was available. I opted in. By the time CRP contract was coming up, the neighbor was Hot to rent it to farm, and he offered to tile it if we had a ten year contract. So the farm is tiled, eventually I sold all but 10 acres to him and its now good farmland. I still rent the 10 acres to him though.
Glad I went with CRP initially, enjoyed a lot of hunting time in that prairie grass.
