Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | we put a new GE dishwasher in the house when we remodeled in 2015. Have learned since that GE dishwashers suck-do a poor job of washing, and alot of dishes are not dry after running. Called the local dealer, who we bought it from, about it not cleaning very well, and dishes wet when done running. He sent out his Ace Repairman. He looked it all over, handed us a photostat copy of a Consumer's Report article about which kind of soap to use, told us to run hot water in sink before starting the dishwasher, and handed us a bill for $90.
We went to sioux city the next week, and ordered a better grade of dishwasher, took only 6 months to arrive, instead of the 9 months predicted, during the supply shortage. New one washes and dries like a champ.
All future appliances coming from sioux city, I don't care what they charge for milage, beats dealing with the local clown.
