I am too close to a major metropolitan area to not take advantage of it. Like it or not, Yellowstone/Netflix/Covid has people wanting to know about their food, cows, ranching, farming. After doing a bunch of research on how to get people onto my little place without the liability this was the best option I found. After talking to them a bit we figured out I could use some of my technical skills to help them, that's how I became a consultant.
