Ohio | There are two components at play. The first is the PLC reference price which is $4.01. The other part is the market year average price. I think the projections on that are still around $4.50 but it will not be set until the end of August 2025. The $3.40 that he is referencing is what the market year average price would need to be to make PLC the no doubt "winner". In that case you would get a payment of $4.01-$3.40= $.61 times your PLC yield per base acre. If the price stays above $4.01 then PLC will not pay out. | |
