If you think a counter index fund is a good place to park money for any normal length of time, you deserve every bit of your -35%.
Agreed. Basically you are betting on the failure of the US economy. For counter index funds to generate a return, the broad market has to be in a downturn. To make "money" long term, you would need a long term downturn, which kinda defeats the purpose of investing for the future. |
