I am pretty much convinced this is the case. I went to one of the highest ranked high schools in the country. We had 10+ AP classes at graduation and 20+ Ivy League attendees in a class of 102 but we didn't have a personal finance class. It blows my mind as it would help students prepare for adulthood more than anything else taught in school.
