It should, in my view, communicate through NMEA output, not the CAN signal to the AgLeader system.
Do you have your NMEA messages in the SF receiver set as the AgLeader wants it?
Unless I'm wrong, which is possible since I'm a Deere guy and not AgL, the Deere CAN line won't work for corrections since it's a proprietary format. Anything can read NMEA since it's a universal format.
