Southern Illinois | After reading as much as I could find, it seems that to use mobile RTK with the 3000 and 6000 requires a mRTK activation. The 7000 has this built in with it's standard RTK unlocks.
I know in NA you can get a Deere tractor with the R or newer M modem for machine tracking and data sharing. The information then simply that you can use these modems with the mRTK activation license to send either NCT or RTCM to the receiver.
I've been playing with a Deere European modem and thought about purchasing a mRTK activation license knowing these are time expiring types of activation. However so far no Deere dealer seems to know anything about being able to price an mRTK activation for the 3000 or 6000.
Has anyone in the US purchased this license for either the 3000 or 6000?
Side note, the European Deere modem activates fine but only shares GSM frequencies with NA. I can only get a very weak bar of GSM data. Not enough to connect with but still worth playing with it. | |
