EC SoDak | Depends on the map, in the 0-100 cm I’m in the grey area near the MN border and in the 20 cm im at 70%. I could see the 70% at 8” due to the Xmas Eve rain and then the snow melt we just had. Fall and winter moisture, if memory serves, was 1.5-2.5” late September to early October, 45/100 from mid October until 1.5-2” of rain Christmas Eve and then the ground froze, around 12-15” of snow after the rain until it melted the last 2 weeks, now allegedly getting 4-8” of snow today. Was rather limited on on sub moisture going into late September, so what that translates to for 0-40” down, I’m not sure. I was chatting with the local plumber yesterday and they had to lower a neighbor’s well this past fall and it’s still sucking air…. I’ll be insuring well again this year. Lol | |
