All of my fence is 5 strand high tensile with t posts, 2 wires hot. Very rarely do I have a problem but this morning it was grounded and a limb fell, broke the insulator and pushed the wire into a post. I found it pretty fast with the tester. Sometimes that thing works really well, then at times it is not much help.
