Can a guy purchase a good working dog? I've wondered about that............but never inquired.
Compared to buying a 4 wheeler or horse............I'd give quite a bit for one. I love dogs...........but I'm evidently not capable of training them. We've had varying degrees of success............but nothing I'd brag about. Our current heeler/cross was probably my best chance.............but he's been in trouble too much, so now just shy's away. Plus he's 13 years old and doesn't need to be doing that anymore.
I'm sure that blue heeler wasn't trained by anyone. He seemed to have the natural instinct to help us move cattle. |
