Okeechobee, Florida | Down here you need a cow dog to get anything done, most along with us have used Florida Cracker Curs since this whole cattle thing began in the 1800s. Good dogs all around, getting a little harder to find a good breeder nowadays but we get ours from a BTO ranch that we’ve been sourcing them from since my great grandfather was running the operation. I’m sure Heelers are great but idk how’d they do down here in our swampy pastures.
