Bull I am looking at is 87% gelbvieh. My cows are anywhere from 7/8 angus 1/8 hereford, to 1/2 angus 1/2 gelbvieh. Some of my cows share a different great great grandfather with this bull as well.

It does get difficult to get a bull of the same breed that is not related when looking back that far.  I know of one guy that always saved his own replacements heifers and always bought bulls from the same bull dealer. Seems likely that at some point he got a bull that was closely related to some of his cows.
