Exactly, all young bulls are tested and re-tested before being picked up to go to a stud. My first bill going to stud tested positive and from then on I used new needles for every single injection as blood transfer is a culprit. Bad deal. Seems the EU was ahead of us there. Sorry for your experience

Edit to add, and now your herd has been positively exposed and it’s basically impossible to get cleared of it now


Not sure how accurate this statement is, after I lost those 3 cows and went to a new needle every time I never lost another cow to Leukosis and I had a lot of old cows.
