With the description of an "A.I. donor bull," if he was at a stud, wouldn't he be tested for BLV before going to the stud? Maybe it was a custom collection place?
I've worked with dairies before that sent bulls to stud and export (both live and embryo) and it seemed like they tested for leukosis before shipment.
