Greetings

Getting frustrated with my present watering system - - - sheep love to freeze water into the trough and then stare at me for more when its frozen - - - we want some boss.

Thinking of using the style of stock waterer that has the pancake floats on top of the water in a water well.

Cows do just fine on these - - - - do sheep?

(This is for lower temperature use - - - not in barn above freezing.)

TIA

Its no wonder that no one has any experience with a pancake covered style waterer for sheep.
Called Ritchie yesterday afternoon - - - they don't make one.

Sales guy said he didn't know why but thought that it might be the big flat area on top - - - too easy for them to stand on.
I suggested that they just might want to figure out one - - - dunno if I'm the only guy with sheep that wants to not blow a wad on running a stock waterer.

(And now you have the rest of the story! (a la Paul harvey))
