tell us more about your trimble gps/receiver that you can use. what exactly is it?

we use multi colored precision equipment on our farm. brothers tractor is trimble mine is agleader. we are really flat here, when he goes into side dress he doesn't even transfer lines, he will set a new a/b on mine and run. he does side dress with a skinny knife and has very narrow tires on his tractor. so as said above, under the correct conditions things can happen easily but you start changing things up it gets more difficult.

if your conditions worked as ours do, one could possibly plant with deere sf3 and come back with trimble rtk and do another task.

i will note all of our equipment is 3 point mounted.

being a huge supporter of true RTK i will say everything i just said above is a terrible idea but in our situation we get by. or i should say he gets by, i run rtk on everything with the same branded monitors, same gps, and same rtk equipment.
