Ontario | I have a buddy that does well by it, but you gotta know how to feed cheap and buy well. ****ty cattle will be cheap buying and cheap selling, but at the same time if you buy good cattle and do a **** job of feeding them they won't be worth much at selling time either. There's too many variables to know what you can or can't make because of this. If you're worried about it I'd start with 10 not 100 and see how it goes, it's pretty hard to lose your shirt over 10 head. As for equipment whatever you have will be fine as others have said you can do it all by hand if you really wanted to, probably be the best margin that way too to be honest. | |
