Not really an issue. I don't step on the tracks getting in and out. There is a grate step and good handles. It does work better if you turn around. 1/13 edit: I used they 300T today in very deep drifted snow today and paid more attention to how I got in and out. I do step on the track getting out briefly to turn myself around before using the grate step. but hand holds are well positioned, I don't see myself getting dirty or wet getting in or out. I obviously wear boots but all in all much easier and safer than climbing out the front of any brand machine, as Ben haas confirmed. Volvo and JCB are the same machine with two different nameplates.
