MS | We are running 2630s and sf3000s with 450 radios. Rented a farm where I'm almost 20 miles from the tower and having a hard time picking up signal within 250 yards of the end field. I'm looking for ideas on what the most economical fix is. That particular farm doesn't need to be rtk repeatable but either I don't know how or it wont let me switch back to sf1 with a rtk globe on the tractor. My dealer suggests switching to a new receiver and display to run satellite rtk but that's a lot of money. Would trading up receivers and still trying to pull off the tower help? What does it take to set up a mobile base station that i can take with me? We have 3 of these systems and rarely have to use them all at the same time. Any other decent ideas out there? I think I'm the farthest in that direction trying to reach the tower and the next guy closer doesn't seem to have much trouble so wondering if I just need to update a receiver and radio and see if that makes any difference. | |
