Subject: Nitrogen options other than anhydrous

EC Illinois
I’ll boil this down to minimize the yapping.. I’m now running 15” corn and 100% no till. My issue is nitrogen forms that are well compatible with my system. My neighbor who’s been at this for a long time likes anhydrous but my observation is the 30” bands without rtk gps cordnation basically causes some rows to hit the N before others and causes an unevenness that I think is detrimental to the crop… seems like the “experts” are pushing for uniformity. This leaves me with dry urea and liquid. The problems there, of course, is not losing it with surface application. Even if I put a little down with the planter I still have to get 150lb out there. Are there any good options for stabilizers? I’d hate to get into a situation where unpredictable rain patters cause me to lose a bunch of N. I’m interested to hear opinions for potential strategies. Also should mention I’m farming in EC Illinois. Tia!
