Out of curiosity, how deep is the water and drawdown where you are pumping?
I’m pumping 960gpm off a 75hp vertical hollow shaft right by my farmstead. Works out to $3,75 for electric alone. That’s probably my lowest cost per acre inch although a lot of my wells will do more in terms of GPM.
About to switch to natty and it’s going to be about 50% of the cost of electric. | |
