Yeah, bred heifers on wheat would probably end up in a disaster!!!! We've had a lot of old cows calve on wheat no problem, calves were huge and they grew fast, don't think I'd try it with heifers even though they are bred to the longhorn.
Bob the red longhorn bull was real interested in what we were unloading, but he went back to the girls after I guess he figured out they were all steers.....
