Absolutely.
I have a friend who did a thesis in college about bias in studies, and their paper was on butter.
Seems that the inventers of margarine funded a 'study' to show that margarine was better for you than butter.
Some time later, the dairy industry funded a 'study' to show that butter was better for you.
The results of quite a few (dare I say most) of the studies reflected the view that those funding it wanted it to portray.
