| A lot of people have no idea what an acre is,so when someone brings up total use of herbicides for a state per year they think we pour it on by the barrel..When I told a woman that was obsessed about her lawn in the city that she used far more weed killers on her garden and yard than farmers would,and that the excess she used went straight down the sewer to the river that the net town pulls water from she acted shocked.
I had a relative go on and on about how roundup should be banned but the grass killer she bought from a big box store had glyphosate as an ingredient.
Sometimes we forget how little others know,,,,some have never opened there eyes or read a book since they got out of school,just accept what the tabloid tv tells them | |
