East of Broken Bow
I have a certain % of my crop I use my wife as my advisor.
I tell her something like corn has been $X for the last two weeks, and now it went up to $Y, should I sell a little, a lot, or wait? Then I do what she says no matter what I think.

I would say 7 or 8 out of 10 times, she does better than me.
I think a lot has to do with 2 factors. She does not live in a vacuum, she does follow the markets somewhat, and knows seasonal price trends (but really doesn't spend a lot of time on it) and second, she is not married to the crop in that if she thinks the price is good, she says sell, you'll always raise more. I tend to wait too long at least with some.
