I've never been a cow man. My dad had a small cow herd (and was kind of his retirement enjoyment after he quit row crop farming) so when I got initially married thought I needed a cow herd too. That lasted about two or three years until I realized I would never be a cow man. Now I could raise hogs. I understood hogs for some reason. But cows I could never understand or appreciate (except when they are on my plate). Even earlier in FFA I tried livestock judging. Was never worth a hoot at it.
Give me a tractor and piece of equipment and I will get something done. | |
