Alpena MI | I’m looking for efficiency and the most cost effective way to have that efficiency while turning out a product that cattle buyers are looking for. At this point, I’m planning to feed in a barn that has a concrete floor and an H bunk. Buying a mixer for 8k isn’t out of the question if that will do what needs done. Our nutritionist is pushing us to add the oatlage in the TMR rather than free choice and I wonder what we can actually get away with. | |
