Yea. Here’s some pics.

I’m going to keep the cream female. Hopefully she is white dominate. Her mother is out of a very good cow with some of those 20 calf Hereford genetics. Mother also sired by a Hereford bull who will make a longhorn have a meat wagon calf. So throw in the speckle meat characteristics and I may have something.

The speckle sired calves are smaller frame than I’m used to. It’s hard to judge them. They were all conceived late and to heifers so naturally they are small.
The pure bred speckles my brother has don’t like the Texas heat. I’m shocked the bull is such a breeder. He spent the whole summer belly deep in the pond. Guess he was keeping the nuts cool since the tried and true Hereford was slacking.
