De Forest, WI

IADAVE - 10/14/2023 23:00 I have been taking 1 aleve and 3 aspirin 2x a day to mitigate the Aleve damage. I hate to go to the chiropractor as I afraid I will hurt them when they try to manipulate me.

There is NO conclusive proof that Aspirin mitigates the potential GI or cardiovascular damage caused by NSAIDs.  There are just as many studies that show no benefit as there are studies that show the opposite.

MOST of the studies are looking to see a synergistic effect between the aspirin and ibuprofen.  Meaning you take a baby aspirin and then time the taking of ibuprofen a couple hours before or after to prolong the effect of the aspirin.  Taking aspirin to prevent ibuprofen side effects is not the goal of most of the studies that have been done.

You would do yourself much better to alter your diet to include foods rich in natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties vs focusing solely on pharmaceuticals.  That is just my opinion.
