Iowa | This is something they’re making huge progress on. My youngest was born with spina bifda, he’s now 6. He has a few issues like bowel and bladder control, walks ok. Just read a study where they injected stem cells in 11 patients with very similar conditions to what he has. After 2 treatments 8/11 had regained most bowel/bladder function. So I’m watching very closely. He actually could get surgery to reroute some stuff inside right now, but I’d really hate to screw up an actual “cure” by trying to fix stuff now. | |
