Subject: RE: Texas chili recipe?

West Central Wisconsin
I entered a Texas Red Chili in a friendly competition this past winter and could have possibly won if competitors didn't bring both sides of their families to vote. :) The recipe is from "Meat Church" on youtube. I really liked the flavor of this chili and would make it more often if not so time consuming. It gets most all of it's flavor from two dried peppers that need to be steeped in hot water then pureed. It has no beans, basically the red pepper sauce, a few seasonings and chunks of beef. It has a very unique flavor and is not hot! First is a link to the recipe and second is the video. Enjoy! https://www.meatchurch.com/blogs/recipes/texas-red-chili https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePlqYj7e46A&t=1049s
