Panhandle of Ne. | I got really lucky a couple weeks ago. Started off with dull nagging pain left kidney, had bloodwork done and showed diminished kidney function and very high potassium level. They did a CT scan and found a 8mm stone. Since I’m in renal failure they shipped me to Fort Collins’s late Friday evening and when the urologist saw my chart they operated on me about 1am Sat morning and pulverized the stone and put a stent in. They weren’t able to get all the pieces out so go back last of the month to get those out and early Aug they will remove the stent.
I’m not a metric guy so I looked at the conversion of 8 mm to inches and it’s 5/16”. Doesn’t sound big but I’m imagining it’s like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose | |
