Subject: RE: Boudin

SW Nebraska Panhandle

Back in the day (I am talking 40 some years ago) their original location in Scott was just part of a convenience store/gas station.  Now they make boudin with cheese, spicy, medium and hot, boudin balls (which are really handy).  They also sell a bunch of prepared meats and also have an online store.  My wife is Scottish but when she got pregnant with our first child she had a fetish for boudin.  Never heard of anyone that didn't like boudin.

After your trip to Louisiana, you will have to go on a diet.  A lot of good food to try.  Mostly a lot of fried and high carb foods.  My favorite is chargrilled oysters during oyster season (Sept to Apr).
