| I think some sort of narrow vee rake is the way to go as long as the hay is relatively dry when you rake it, would be better if you could drop the swaths a bit further apart so that you have more dry ground in between, at that low of yield it should not be a big deal to get it dry for baling. Vee rakes make the nicest windrows for round baling IMO, but suspect you are making small squares so not quite as important, but still easier to bale with nice even straight sided windrows. | |
