West Chazy, New York | There are lots of old wives tales of how to make a swarm settle down, including banging on a pan with a spoon or throwing dust in the air. Truth is the swarm seldom goes very far so most of the old methods appear to work. I remember driving through a swarm on an open station tractor. A bit nerve wracking but they had other things on their minds and never bothered me. | |
