Thumb of Michigan | My son charges $90 an hour for a compact tractor, with equipment attached (roto-tiller, flail mower, bushhog, etc.). So, my thinking is somewhere between $75 to $100 an hour at least. Wow would be the response I'd think, but equipment, fuel, labor isn't cheap. I'm also thinking what it would have cost you with a wrecked rear tire just on the tractor. You didn't mention the size of the RB, but a 5'x5' sells for $100 here.
The hidden cost is how rough the fields were. How much did that effect your equipment?
Now, if you just want to be a nice, generous, friendly neighbor, help anybody guy, toss all above out the window and charge him $250. And never do it again.
Hope I didn't short you on my 2 pennies worth. | |
