I have that exact mower. Use it on a JD 4020. Really wouldn’t want to use anything smaller weight wise. 80-90 pto hp is plenty but you need the weight. I would like it better if I had weights on the front of the 4020. An MFWD tractor in that size range would be perfect IMO. As others have said it works great for its intended purpose.
Buddy has one, his 55 hp tractor doesn’t have enough guts to run it. He mows a steep ditch bank with no ROPS.
