| I had a 6' Woods version for several years. Used it mainly to mow over the sides of drench ditch banks. Mine had a pto powered pump. In tall, heavy grass it would stall out Iunless you really went slow. I twisted off the pto shaft on our 1206 mowing 3' tall, heavy grass, pto shaft overheated from the hot oil in the pump. Mine actually mowed better going backwards than forward. Had to be careful mowing creek banks, if mower caught going forward it would pull front of the tractor towards the creek. If it caught going backwards it would pull the rear of tractor towards the creek. Mine was welled used when I bought it. I did have to replace the hyd motor than ran the blades once. Eventually the break broke out & I scrapped the thing. | |
