Yes, not a pretty picture, I know they have expenses,( so do I) but with what they charge it may get to a point if it isn't where unless you are in the middle of a train wreck it not worth the effort or expense to get the animal and vet together for treatment. I have never called a vet out for the first sick or dead calf, 2nd or 3rd yes.
