i could see that. i suppose the number i hear from guys aren't after their expenses. if you custom had it applied would u save more money? i think they charge a penny a gallon around here.
No, custom applied costs even more per acre. There is nothing cheap about applying manure. Does it give a yield bump yes, but it's A LONG way from being free. It's a whole different way of managing your ground as well after the manure is applied. I've been applying hog manure for 30 years and have it down to a science but I've seen some guys do some ugly stuff to their fields. |
