NCKS | Right "Regular crop" wheat is wheat on wheat or if youre really old school, you let is sit after a fall crop clear until the next year's wheat planting.
This area used to be 80-90% wheat with some milo and alfalfa mixed. Very little Regular crop wheat here anymore besides the guys that plant 2 year of wheat in between alfalfa crops. It won't be very long til wheat is just what old timers and cowboys do kinda like milo now. Can't make money on regular crop and the last few years have proven doublecrop is almost too risky to mess with. | |
