Hoisington, KS | Over 50% getting sprayed or grazed here. Have you received rain lately? No thought of following with another crop. Zero subsoil moisture. Not sure we could even get milo or soybeans up in wheat stubble here. Talked with another neighbor today who says he's staying with his regular rotation regardless of the drought conditions. I've never experienced anything like this in my 40 years of farming, but don't want to farm for the insurance. | |
