Subject: seeking some advise

North Central Kansas
Have you ever talked to a ag person (title unknown) that might give you insight on to what might be better piece of equ to buy or think about? Should I be looking for a new to me planter 15" centers for beans and milo, 30 for corn. or go to a air drill for wheat, milo beans and hire corn done? 150 acres of corn prob all I will do a year. Levi has a good 8 row planter that I have hired to do my corn this year. 150 acres a year is most I see me doing of corn. I drilled beans with my GP3000 one year and was not impressed with stand (yes dry year did not help) have not tried milo in it yet. I truly can see the plusses of 10 or 15" beans, and I would like to think that 15" milo would be just as good for the same reason of covering the ground faster.
I run 1100 acres, 100 of that in alfalfa. 400 ish wheat, 300 ish beans, 100 ish corn, 200 milo

if I wanted smart ask anwers....id go to local elevator and ask them.
This is a fall of 24 purchase if all goes well.

thanks
