don't limit yourself to agriculture
Good advice. My son...........who would be a good worker in any field, has wound up finding his way quickly into the oil field. His ag skills adapted him really well there and within a few short years he was making over $200k annually. He since has backed off a little but still makes really good money..........just wanted more family time since he and his wife are raising 4 kids.
I've spoken with a couple of his bosses..............and they really admire his work ethic. He understands that he's supposed to make his company money. And he really likes his chosen career. If you would have asked him a decade ago he'd have said all he really wanted to do was farm.
