RR Valley, ND; MN native | Earlier today, I get a call from my sister and BIL (both of them on the phone) and they announce they are getting a divorce. (?!?!?!?)
So, they have been together since senior year in HS circa 1990 and married almost 30yrs now.
To say this was out of the blue is no exaggeration. I cannot claim to be real close with my sister but no hint of issues was heard.
None of my business but this will take some time for sure. They have no kids so nobody other than them to be directly affected but for sure I am a little numb for a while.
